Text Box is a large area in which users can input a large amount of information or paragraphs of text. The character limit can be changed in the Properties area.
Reference Name is used in Insights to identify this question.
No Spaces, No Numbers, and limited to 20 characters
Caption is the Question name.
Caption Color determines the color of the Caption.
Caption Weight determines if the Caption is ‘Regular’ or ‘Bold’ font type.
Placeholder allows you to put grey text in the answer area that will disappear once the answer field is selected.
Max Character Length
Max Character Length determines how many characters the answer field can contain.
Height determines the visual size of the Answer field. It does not effect how many characters or words are put into it.
Required Field allows you to require the question be answered before it can be submitted
Use Spellcheck allows spellcheck to check the answer fields spelling.
Read-Only Options allows you to determine if the answer field is accessible to the user. ‘Never’ allows users to always edit and input data. ‘Always’ prevents users from ever editing or inputting data into that field. ‘After Initial Submission’ allows the data to be input until it is submitted, then it is locked.
Hide Question determines whether or not the question is visible to users when they fill out the form.
Reference allows users to perform math with other values.
Only two non-number characters can be used.
Use Value as Keyword
Use Value as Keyword flags the question to be viewed quickly in the Dashboard.
Keyword Color determines the background color of Answers that have been flagged as Keywords on the Dashboard.
